The Rilington Group “5K Trifecta” Focuses on Corporate Wellness as Core Company Value

The Rilington Group recently organized and sponsored company teams for three Palm Springs 5K events in the first quarter of 2015. Employees and families of both the Rilington Group and its new home community, Vallera Palm Springs, had at least 6 participants at each of the 5K events. These included the Mayor’s Healthy Planet, Healthy You 5K Race and Wellness Festival in January, the 2015 Palm Springs 5K in February and the recent Running Wild for Hope 5K.

This “5K Trifecta”, now an annual company event, is the cornerstone of the company’s commitment to supporting the health and wellness of employees. “We are so proud of our team members and their families who joined us in at least one if not all three of the 5K events,” notes Erin Eslinger, the company’s Director of Marketing. “I know we are all so thankful to work for a company that encourages our personal wellness and promotes fun team building,” Eslinger adds. Creating this race series, the Rilington Group 5K Trifecta encourages team member fitness. Employees who participated in all three events received a medal and special recognition for their efforts.

Longtime New Home Sales Professional Joins The Rilington Group

The Rilington Group is pleased to announce Cathy Boscole recently joined the Rilington team as Community Sales Manager for Vallera Palm Springs at Village Traditions. “I moved out of the desert this summer to Carlsbad and had no intention of moving back here. Then, Mickie Riley offered me a job and I came back just so I could work for the company which really says it all,” says Boscole. Harry initially joined Rilington Communities in 2000 as Purchasing Director, where spent eight years working closely with principals Mickie and Hansi Riley on projects throughout the Coachella Valley and San Diego. “We all fit as a team here. Mickie is always looking to grow his people and he totally trusts you to manage your position so you can grow in leaps and bounds,” says Harry. “He truly wants what is best for you and continually demonstrates that. As Director of Operations, Harry will oversee the field and office operations including schedules, budgets, field personnel, quality control, purchasing onsite and offsite construction. She will also assist project superintendents with the coordination of subcontractors. Part of her responsibilities will also include reviewing field procedures and policy programs to assure consistent reporting and tracking systems.
